So, let's talk about DailyChaoz.
I get to sort through his reference art and sit in on lorebuilding sessions (yay!), so trust me when I say there's a lot of lore to unpack here. But let's start with the basics:
This purple-haired "catboy" (as he's often teased about) is actually an alien parasite with two very clear goals: world conquest and being an absolute goober. Honestly? We respect both.
Before life, Daily was known simply as "Jack", a young man who happened to meet their untimely demise, out of the way of civilization. Malnourished, ill, and out of spirit, he was about to succumb to one of the many illnesses.
Though he closed his eyes, he found them open once more, and though Jack had moved, he was still within the town that had forsaken him to death. The exchange? He moved - attempted to, anyways - his arms, and found that they didn't respond.
"Good morning, Prince!~ Sleep well?~"
It was his own voice, but it wasn't his thoughts. The foreign voice goes on to explain that Jack had indeed been out for a while, and had almost expired several times.
"I died?!"
"NO! no, you didn't die! Goodness. You were out for.. fwooh, two years?" a guess drew, almost as if the voice has lost count, before it dropped to a playful, offended tone. "Thanks for the help, by the way."
Over the next several months, Jack was working to catch up to the life the was ran on his behalf. For whatever reason, the invader, a parasite that had taken a liking to the look of cats, had failed to remember the basic, *automatic* needs that a host needs: eating, drinking, and sleeping, combined with strenuous exercise, had made Jack's body even weaker.
It was to the point that the parasite had been making revolving door trips in the emergency room, refusing to listen to his begging host to take a break, to eat something, to work a job, but the damage was already financially unwinding his account, until he was placed in front of the hospital's financial officer, and forced to sign a Future-collateral loan, forcing him to risk "the future he has" as bargaining power to cover the medical debts he had quickly accrued.
Things quickly spiraled from complicated... to, well, worse than ear-buds spending an hour of quality time in your pocket; spending a half-decade in less-than-ideal employment situations.
His two-seven hand had suddenly been redealt on one fateful day - finding himself at a crossroad. After having tried to suppress, ignore, and hide from his host, Daily was starting to take ideas, suggestions, and working to harmonize with the once he borrows life from. Jack, on the other hand, was allowed to use his body more frequently - turns out, having a local perspective, familiar in custom and tradition, was rather good for their wellbeing.
The Journey So Far
DailyChaoz debuted on Twitch in June 2021 and has been building a dedicated cult following ever since. He's the kind of creator who's still experimenting—hopping rooftops, causing mayhem, and figuring out his perfect niche in real-time. There's something special about watching creators grow, and Daily's no exception.
